You guys should check out Watchers by Dean Koontz.

I read this book last year for research paper in English, but I still think it was an amazing book. Very suspenseful.

I loved The Old Man and the Sea, so now I'm reading The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. I'm only 50 pages in, but so far so good.

Hemingway is great!

I'm about halfway through The Fellowship of the Ring now. I love Summer for this  giggle;

The Speaker Of Words

I just finished reading Anthem. It was great.
I'm going to start Atlas Shrugged tomorrow.

I just finished A Prayer For Owen Meany. It was pretty good.

I'm wondering if I should check out the Dragonriders of Pern series.

I heard there's peoplesex AND dragonsex in it. That sounds awesome.

If you like to read about grandparents having sex, I suggest you check out Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. We had to read it in English this year.

Boogus Epirus Aurelius

What's with this sudden mini-obsession with Rand?

My library has Atlas shrugged on hold for like 5 people.

It's philosophy-lite.

It's an interesting read, but I wouldn't rank it among the top of my list(s).

A lot of conservatives are making a fuss about her because they feel like everything is becoming too socialized (or at least I would assume that's what they're talking about) and she wrote in favor of everything they want at this point. It's really funny though because I don't think Rand would like or support these politicians. She only liked the best in humans (H. Roark) And they are not.

I.

A Moveable Feast is really good. If that's the one I am remembering, that was the autobiographical one, correct?
