He knows how many states there are. It was an error after, how many days of campaigning nonstop(unlike McCain who tries to take a break, conveniently before a debate).  He had visited 47 States.  We have 50. It was an error that was simple to make.

And then you have Biden and Palin, the latter of whom lacks any knowledge of American history.

Our founding fathers? That's incredible since the Pledge of Allegiance wasn't written until the 1890s and "Under God" hasn't even been in the pledge for 60 years(added in the 1950's).  THAT IS A GREAT PERSON TO HAVE IN THE SECOND HIGHEST POSITION OF POWER.
