I forgot to turn my headlights on. The car I was driving I'm not used too, and it has auto lights and I assumed they were on, but obviously they weren't. Luckily I didn't get one of the dick cops and he let me off with a warning. Kwestion of discussion for this topic is should I tell my parents? Is there anyway they'll be notified about this? If not I probably just won't tell them because I don't need my dad anymore pissed than he is usually at me, but if they will it'd jsut be better for them to hear it from me first.

It's just a warning so your parents won't be notified.

Yeah, or at least I would think not.

 It was a simple mistake with no ticket. I wouldn't worry.

I don't see how that would make your parents mad.
It's a simple understanding.

I drove by a police station once, and even through the bridge toll from NJ to PA and still no person of authority noticed my headlights were off. I got lucky. And NJ cops are notorious for their intolerance and aggressive upholding of the law. In Philly however, the cops don't do anything unless there is a shooting, they're too busy dealing with serious crime to care about headlight, seat belts or stop sign violations.

Selkie

they won't tell if you just got a warning.

I once did the same thing, but no one pulled me over.  doodella;
