Um so my new processor

I'm debating whether or not to get a 2.3GHz processor or a 2.7GHz processor. Of course, It would be awesome to get a 2.7GHz processor, but that costs $40 more and that would mean that I'd have to dip into my savings.

 I have 2.3 dual core. (2.39 really) I say spend the 40 bucks. I only have 1Gb of memory. Is it worth 70 bucks to upgrade to 2?
