i tried to connect my ipod to the computer but it doesnt work. all i can get it to do is charge.the ipod doesnt get the screen that says dont disconnect or anything.

my computer and itunes doesnt recognize the ipod is plugged in

is my ipud broken

Sometimes mine doesn't show up when I plug it in, but it works after I reset the Pood. Or restart the computer. Or something else I did that I forgot.
