I used to think aliens lurked in the dark and would grab you if you didn't run. If you were outside, the aliens wouldn't bother you because the area was too open or something and they only liked tight spaces.

I still kind of think something will grab me if I don't run through a dark hall.

Kinda the same here. I had a cousin who I didn't like to be inside with, so I stayed outside as much as possible so I could run away if need be.

And kinda the same about the second part, too. Whenever I turn the light off in the bathroom and start to walk out, I have a feeling like something is going to grab me from the shower. Sometimes I reach my hand in as far as possible so I can go quickly around the corner.
