My dog got sprayed by one last night and now our house smells like shit. We bathed her in peroxide and shit, but it stinks. And this is the second time in a year.

My dog got skunked once, but that was nearly 5 years ago. We kept him outside, so it was all good.

Last summer my dad let my dog out at night to go pee. He had her on a leash, but she saw something and ran, taking the leash with her. When she came back from around the house, she was squinting and had yellow crap on her face. My dad figured that she got skunked, so he...brought her inside.

I was at my computer and was like "wtf what smells," so I went to the kitchen where my dog and dad were. They both looked confused. The smell was so awful, and my mom came over too because the whole house smelled. We yelled at him to take the dog outside. The next day, we gave her many a bath and took her to the vet because she was acting like she was sick. She was fine, though. And now we're always extra careful when we let her out at night.
