And your point is? I am aware of both things, sometimes to get things one bureaucracy must be eliminated. Jackson did what had to be done (the dirty work) with no political delays and with no BS, he did what was best for the nation was a whole, the means justified the ends.

Sounds like Bush to me. The system is in place for a reason, and if he had listened to the Supreme Court's ruling, thousands of Indians would not have died.

Yeah but would this nations have developed the same if Jackson had not forced the Indian American's into reservations? You cannot develop a country without systematic order and boundaries. Also, that's not all he did in his lifetime, one arguable fact does not make and define a man's life.

Alright, I was just pointing out flaws in his presidency. I guess his other accomplishments are noteworthy though.
