When someone knocks on your door, are you usually the one to answer? Do you check to see who it is before opening, or just open it?
I'm usually the one to answer because my mom makes me, and I almost always check. powerofone;

I have a cell phone. If someone is at my house for me, they will call and tell me to come outside.
