Today I took a field trip to a Career Expo at the Alltel Civic Center, if any of you have any idea where that is. We participated in some shitty "Career Game Show", and listened to this speaker. Then we went to this large arena area and learned about "Careers". I got a sobriety test, got some information from some local colleges, filled out some forms, sat in a nice chair that simulated electric brakes and some guys told me the difference between them and hydraulic brakes, listened to some chick talk about Hybrid cars, and got to put a hardrive into a computer with Geeksquad. I also did various other little things I don't really care about.

Overall it was pretty fun. I stole many, many pens and things.
Then afterwards, we stopped at the mall to get some food. Instead of getting food, I stopped at the record store and bought Children of Bodom: Follow the Reaper and Dream Theater Greatest Hits. I wanted to get an Opeth CD, but the only one I wanted was Damnation, and they didn't have it. They also didn't have Dream Theater: Scenes from a Memory. :(
First Cd's I've bought in over a year, though.
At this very moment I'm ripping the Cd's to my computer.

So what'd you do today, Boyah?

something absolutely fun and productive im sure

I almost got hit by a bus in Times Square. Now I'm on my bed in a fetal position.  >.<

The French exchange students came today. I couldn't understand them as I don't know much French AND THEY SPEAK TOO FAST. There were two good looking girls.

Rest of the day was good, too, although, the house smells like fish.

Anime club was confusing as usual.
Now I'm home being bored and lonely.

You don't wait for the light to change in New York, you just wait for the traffic to slow down and dissapear into one of the huge masses of walking tourists.

Scenes From A Memory is good, my personal favorite of DT's is the Change of Seasons EP, although I haven't listened to them in months

Scenes From A Memory is also cool because the cover art was done by one of my favorite artists, Dave McKean
