Taste would combine the effects of the nose's ability to sense what exactly a food tastes like along with your tongue. While it'd be impossible in a real world setting, losing your sense of smell alone without taking a hit to taste would permit you to enjoy a delicious lobster and never have to deal with those filthy flowers.

And I have trouble smelling anything due to some genetic disorder I inherited from my father, so I could live without that limited sense. The ability to hear and at least being able to see the fuzziest images are the most essential to me.
