So my mom said her friend is selling a car.  She said she's gonna see if it needs any work and if it doesn't need a lot she'll buy it for me.



She didn't give me a present when I graduated or turned 18(or do anything to even celebrate) so I'll forgive her if she does this.

Nicer than most kids' first cars, that's for sure. It's not great, but it was a steal at only $500. 1992 Ford Taurus in good condition. Hasn't failed me yet, at least not completely. I've put some work in it, like replacing the old battery, getting new brake lines, new tires, two tune-ups thus far, and maybe something else I'm forgetting, but that's sort of to be expected of any old car.

Overall, it's been good to me.
