we've been learning all about college/graduation credits and stuff for high school these past few weeks. it's soo confusing. my teachers are all like stressing me out with choosing the right classes and how what i decide now is gonna affect the rest of my life. and i'm just like "shitt, i'm in 8th grade! i don't know what i wanna do with my life"

Yep.  It's not like you have much choice before that.  Most of my freshman year was doing all of the required stuff, and then Sophomore year was finishing it up so I had room for good electives Junior and Senior year.
