I brush my teeth after breakfast if I do eat it, and I brush them anyway if I don't eat anything.

Yeah, brushing your teeth after leaves a fresh taste in your mouth and washes away the food.

it also doesn't make your food taste like toothpaste.   Never drink Orange Juice after brushing your teeth.

I actually drink some soda first thing after waking up. Food-wise, a peanut butter and jelly graham cracker thing from my school (I only get breakfast at school because it's free in my county caterpie;).
