Also, my specs are comparable to Hiei's. I WONDER HOW MUCH CHEAPER HIS COMPUTER WAS. 1/3 OF MINE? 1/4?

Probably cheaper since I salvaged what I could from my old build (not much, just the optical drives, case, fans, and lights), and I didn't buy a new monitor or speakers. These upgrades were probably about ~$600 plus tax.

Definitely beats the ~$1600 mine costed.

But I got back about $1200 because of the HD failure in my G5, so I suppose it all worked out. Even better because I got to keep the old Mac and I just have to replace the hard drive and it'll work perfectly fine.

Yeah, but if I were to get a widescreen monitor of that size, and a non-shitty webcam, it'd cost significantly more. Not as much as your iMac, but it'd probably be about $350.

So, basically, shit.
