Dear Squirtlejazz,

If you are having problems accessing the site, please visit our direct
link at http://72.47.200.20/forums
It will take 24 hours for the new IP address to propagate around to
your local IPS, you can access the site at the link above.

First, I would like to thank you for replying and commenting on the A
Head Admin-Member Meeting thread, I appreciate the time and effort you
put into posting your thoughts and ideas and I want you to know that I
have taken every single one of your comments and suggestions into
consideration for future decisions.

As your head admin, I want to be clear that I'm here to make sure you
have a fun and entertaining forum experience, on the same token, please
notice that as admin and owner of the site, I want it to be as
successful as most of you want it to be, and with this thought in mind I ask
that you to help us create an atmosphere that is fun, clean, with minimum
spam and full of active members.

For these goals to be accomplished, I personally ask that you help the
moderating and admin team, so that we can then help the community, and
support our efforts to make this the best Nintendo community on the
internet.

Some of the most discussed topics on the thread were the following in
no particular order:

1) Getting rid of the post restriction.
A) I'm glad to announced this has already been done.

2) More moderators that are more active.
A) Currently hiring new moderators, I plan to have 3 new moderators by
before the end of the year.

3) Moderators that moderate during after business hours and graveyard
hours.
A) One of our new moderators has a similar schedule and will fill this
gap.

4) Local moderators for busy forums such as the Super Smash Board and
Power On.
A) Power Knight is a new moderating rank in the works, these moderators
will be specifically assigned to Power On and will be chosen along
with our new Global moderators.

5) Creating more special ranks for some of the gaming discussion forums
in order to revive more interest on these forums and drive more
activity.
A) Our Admin Raymond is working on something similar, but we do have
plans for more special ranks.

6) Personal floated threads like the old NSider.
A) This is a difficult script that I have been working on for the past
2 months, due to my heavy holiday work schedule I will not be able to
code this feature until late in January.

7) More contests.
A) We are working on getting more contests, but most importantly I ask
our members to let us know about any contests they may be hosting on
NSider2 so that we can promote them.

8) A general gaming discussion, an Anime and a music forum.
A) A thread for the Anime forum is floated on Power On, other similar
polls will be posted to see what the majority of the members think about
these new forums, if each forum receives enough support, then we will
have those new forums created for you.

9) Changes to the signature limitations.
A) I will be working on drafting a new signature rule that will allow
you to advertise your forum in a way that does not interferes with the
forum's aesthetics. Do not worry, the ability to advertise your site,
blog, or social network profile will always be available.

10) Moving the community into a new direction, creating a new identity.
A) Something I think is not only needed, but necessary, we will slowly
introduce ideas so that you, as a member, can help us shape the
identity of NSider2.

11) Forum index clutter and merging of Pokemon forums.
A) Raymond, has gone ahead and re-configured the forum index and done a
great job at keeping things organized while still keeping a familiar
navigational feel to the forums.

12) Lighter skins.
A) Our newest addition to the skin lineup is our Pok?mon skin, which
is a light blue and gray Pok?mon skin.

13) Actual games for the Market.
A) New year's eve will bring many games for you to exchange at our
Market, make sure to check out our Market feature for many cool games,
accessories and even game consoles for you to buy with your rupees.

I hope we can continue this trend, and you continue to give us valuable
feedback so that NSider2 can move in the right direction.

Personally, I value the time you take into making your voice heard,
rest assure I'm listening to your concerns, and working hard, and taking
steps to make the right choices.

In the name of NSider2's moderating and admin teams, I want to wish
every single one of you a Happy New Year 2008!

We will see you back in 2008!

The log in link requests connection to nsider2.com even if you are viewing the page from typing the IP.
