Why not just claim that he raped her?
i don't know but i think i heard somewhere that you need evidence for things like that

still needs evidence, even if only circumstantial

but uh yeah females claiming rape can typically provide physical evidence of some sort, be it bruising from violent rape, fluids (condom lubricant counts, too), etc. etc.

o

so i'm guessing it's hard to convict a parent if the kid doesn't say anything for a while since the bruising, cuts, fluids, dna, and any of that other evidence would have disappeared by then

I would just continually torment the guy, like dull all his razors, put eyedrops in his water, shove a flaming dildo up his ass.

not necessarily; testimony of others such as family members and friends regarding the abuser's behaviors/actions/etc. could be used,  possibly (not completely certain here) testimony from a physician or whatnot who had examined the child and found bruises etc. (part of my uncertainty comes from the fact that doctors typically have to report suspected abuse; i suppose it's possible the victim or the abuser might have explained the injuries away), or (with far more certainty and less iffiness) testimony of said family members and friends regarding physical signs of the abuse (bruises and other injuries with strange explanations, for example) as well as complaints made by the victim to them in the past, and i think i was going to add something else but i forget

also, severe and recurrent beatings can maybe leave long-lasting signs that wouldn't necessarily be visible on the surface but i dunno i'll have to check
not sure on how long semen stains could last on bedsheets and undergarments and the like, and all i've found so far is a company selling semen detection kits for the suspicious lover which makes the claim that they last for a long time which doesn't help much so i'll also maybe get back on that psyduck;
