Chelsea came up with the best idea ever recently. She's an excellent singer, though she hates to admit it, and she said that we should try performing together. She wants to learn some guitar basics to help to improve some songs where they wouldn't sound too great with only one guitar (mine), and of course she'd be doing vocals.

Naturally, that means we wouldn't be doing much actual rock music or anything like that, as we lack a drummer (a bassist would be nice too but not really necessary), but we can do awesome simple acoustic material and such.

I can't wait to start.

We're not really sure what to cover yet. I suggested Neil Young and Bob Dylan as good sources for covers when it comes to this sort of thing, and she suggested Fleetwood Mac because of the fact that they also have good acoustic material and because she can sing like Stevie Nicks.

I was also thinking some cool acoustic blues stuff, like maybe some Keb' Mo'. She also wants us to cover "Dust in the Wind," which is of course by Kansas, but emulating that awesome violin solo on a guitar wouldn't go over so well.

Acting crazy is overrated. Most musicians look fucking stupid when they try to "act crazy."
