I went to Best Buy today in hopes of getting a Wii to put away as my Christmas gift, and they didn't have any.

They had like 5 billion PS3's and 360's, and absolutely zero Wii's.

I will keep trying.

I couldn't get a Wii when it released mostly due to financial problems my dad was having, so I tried to live on without it. Then, one amazing December day, my dad came home with a Wii.

He said he just walked in before work, saw the last one, and bought it.

I have to admit that I thought that little beast would just go up on my shelf like my TG16, Atari 2600, and Sony systems, but he gets loads of play time. Can't go wrong with  a $30 system and a full collection of excellent $10 games.

I was never interested in Sega.

If I were to get a classic system it would be a SNES, cause I missed out on that as a child.

cool paying $8 to play a game and not own it when you can get it off the internets for a dollar a dozen

Street Fighter Alpha 2, In The Hunt, Darius Gaiden, Galactic Attack, any other shmup, Panzer Dragoon (all three), Sonic Jam Pack or whatever, Rayman, Castlevania SotN, loads of other awesome 2D games, and loads of cheap imports.
