Beat Lightening Force.

The first four levels are pretty easy after you play them a couple of times, but after that it jumps up to HOLY SHIT level. I had to set it to 99 lives but it's still an awesome game. I'm not sure if it dethrones Darius Gaiden, Gradius V, and Life Force, but it's just amazing.

I had SpikeTV on the other night for some unknown raisin, and they were showing Xbox 360 games.

That game looks no different from Army of Two, Call of Duty 4, and every other goddamn game on the system.

Goddamn, I at least wish modern developers would try and go for a unique graphics style or something instead of just changing a helmet and subtitle and calling it a new game.

Now that I've won Sinistron, I'm satisfied.

Did you beat it? The game really picks up once you get past the shitty ridiculously long tutorial cleverly disguised as "Lyn's Tale". And I had a lot of fun having to carefully plan out each battle and play everything out perfectly, because that's what makes strategy games fun. Sometimes the "slowest" strategy games are the best, especially when you go at them as obsessively as I do.

Also, the battle animations were awesome, way better than NES bullshit.

Yes, I beat the first one and I beat Sacred Stones on one of the paths but I can't remember which.

I think Sacred Stones was even worse.
