i bought far cry primal yesterday cuz i really needed a game with a similar gameplay of horizon zero dawn. it's not as good as hzd but i like it so far. i just hate playing in first person tho, i get dizzy

thoughts: it's good but the repetitive nature of the side missions and low enemy variety make it kind of a slog. it's probably a better experience if you didn't play through all the demos like me and already learned how to play before the game even came  out idk. still better than lords of the fallen though!

So, for anybody that cares, Yooka Laylee is quite fun so far.

and i would hope it's better than lords of the fallen, rofl

once you learn how to play, it's not hard. the game ramps up the enemies' hp and damage later on but you already know how to reliably kill all the enemies by that point (raven tengu and wheelmonks can fuck off though). as for bosses, barring a late game optional superboss i gave up on, i rarely ever took more than 3 tries to beat one. some of this is due to 5 of the bosses already being in the alpha/beta though
