i tried playing through it with my brother but he was bad at it and decided it was the game's fault so he quit a few chapters in 

it was still tons of fun just playing with some rando tho

I had fun with the game solo as well as co-op.

re5 was really fun on co-op. That was the redeeming factor of the game imo. I played the whole thing through w/ my brother

agreed, co-op is definitely the way to play re5. while i do think it's still a pretty good game overall, when you play it co-op it's just a lot more fun tbh and you can more easily overlook its flaws. and also, some of the game's mechanics just seem like it was kinda made to be played co-op anyway, like ai-controlled sheva being kinda stupid and the inventory trading system
