that was the next contra i planned on getting, since i really need more genesis games in general tbh

disregarding my sega bias hard corps really is the best of the series

the music is good, the graphics are better, the action is fast, and the gameplay is more varied and exciting than 3 by far

also if you haven't ever played dynamite headdy put that on your list

starting dark souls ii because i want to redeem my dlc machine guns before the code expires and get to the hub area

then i'll put it down for the next year or so like i did with dark souls and demon's souls before it and start bioshock infinite or smth

i just haven't heard many people talking about the game in general tbh. despite being a souls game, it's being played strangely...silently. most of what i've personally heard has been positive though, save for minor complaints here and there.

i don't personally expect it to be as good as dark souls is (and i really do like dark souls a little more than demon's souls), but from the small amount i've played thus far it's certainly been good

DaS2 is better than the first one. I'd say that DeS is still the best, but DaS2 certainly is close to how good DeS is.

i don't expect to like it as much as dark souls either, but i'm sure at the very least it'll be better than demon's, and that's more than enough to satisfy me
