Listen to Mika - Grace Kelly

Sound is great. I'm going to explore the rest of the songs on this album but that one is the one I've heard a lot of recently.

Don't really like anything of his except for Grace Kelly, song kicks ass. Other stuff is too pop-like.

It was designed to be a mocking satire of musicians who try to reinvent themselves to be popular. It is titled after Grace Kelly, an Academy Award-winning American film and stage actress. Mika claims the song was inspired after a bad experience with a record company executive. The lyric "So I tried a little Freddie" is a reference to Queen's Freddie Mercury, to whose singing voice Mika's has been compared.

So in other words, sounding like Queen was exactly his intention for this song.

It's not bad, but his voice does get a bit annoying sometimes, and I can't stand that he said "kaching" like that at the end.

But whatever. I've heard worse.

I don't really have any, because from what I've seen of the kind of music you listen to, they're not your style at all.

I hate some bands like Journey, but Queen I do love.

I like how opera like the music is, and really really love Queen because of watching Wayne's World as a child
