I think the only reason I like them actually is because I have been listening to them literally my entire life because my dad is a huge fan of them.

ROFL no. Journey wasn't revolutionary or even important to music history. Half of their songs are very much alike. Hell, a lot of the time they just sound like their much more popular competitor, Def Leppard.

Don't get me wrong, though. I certainly do enjoy Journey. I just could never in a million years call them "the best." They were just a rock band who had to whore themselves out as arena rock to make it "big."
