codes are preferred over a clunky GUI that would require loading some network database of levels just to find yr friends level.


the picture code thing like in tomadachi life and animal crossing...the QR code would be a cool way of sharing levels.

The big challenges in Mario Maker are making stages that people can actually clear, that anyone will star, or that will actually get played. It's kinda amazing how many people can't even clear the easier levels. My easier two levels have a clear rate around 30%, while the other three are all around 3%. After 5 uploads, I have 16 stars, but apparently you need 50 stars to gain the ability to upload more than 10 levels (or 150 stars for more than 20).

While it's kinda ridiculous that Mario Maker doesn't use your friend list at all, I think having a unique identifier for your stage is the best way to go for sharing stages outside of people on that list.

They'd probably benefit from denser sharing codes. 16 hex digits is a bit long, while something like 6 base36 characters (0-9, A-Z) would still allow unique identification of up to 4 billion stages.

What's easier to give someone and type: "DB57-1BB6-64BB-C4A4" or "NW8Y2"?

idk what to do in the room with two trampolines

literally jumped everywhere, even grabbed the trampoline and kicked it higher up

also what's the reward for expert clear- another costume?  the most ive cleared is 6 ugh

I played your levels and enjoyed them except for the last one. I don't have the patience for underwater levels, especially when such precision is needed. Otherwise great work.

A Metroidvania style level with flavorful aesthetics. Fairly medium difficulty level with a handful of simple puzzles. There are hints as to what items are needed to pass certain areas in the walls. Thanks a lot for checking it out.
