finally watched some miyazaki movies

porco rosso: idk it was okay but i feel like it didn't go anywhere.
nausicaa: Neat. i like arthropods so all the creature design was nice
princess mononoke: it was okay. the deer god is the ugliest thing i've ever seen and i was glad when it was shot.
spirited away: very neat all the food made me hungry
howl's moving castle: good movie

howl's moving castle is honestly probably the worst of those because it's so ridiculously rushed and incomplete, despite how well it's made otherwise

i love miyazaki but howl is one of my least favorite of his films

spirited away and castle in the sky are my favorites

finally started reading Yotsuba&!

Yotsuba is the cutest little thing and so much of the humor comes from her being such a dorky little girl that doesn't know anything. it's funny and adorable and great.

i remember reading a short excerpt and it was yotsuba swinging, and she started swinging really high and the other girl was like "dont let go!"
And yotsuba let go, and went flying and landed on her feet.

Then she was like "scary...." and then ran away goin "Scaryyyyyyyy!"
It was funny
