I hope they Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max - I just started it, it's just about this guys real life, all the stories in it are true. He writes stories about how he gets drunk. I read it on the airplane to California, and I couldn't stop laughing at how hilarious some of the stories are. I think this is a book you have to read in public to get the full experience because it's quite dirty.

The Husband by Dean Koonz - It was pretty lame. Very cookie cutter, just like any other book in it's genre. About a kidnapper who kidnaps his guys wife. He has to come up with the money. Pretty dull.

Choke by Chuck Palahniuk - It's awesome. It's full of lots of little ideas and stories. The story is about a sex addict, and includes so many awesome and very dirty humor. Just one of the things that happens in the book is the main character, Mitch, remembers the days as a kid and how he used to surfer the internet to find this website with a chimpanzee who would pull out and eat chestnuts out of some guys asshole. I really liked how straight forward the book was. It's being made into a movie in September by the way.

I'm going to be checking out Chuck Palahniuk's other work by the way, I just got Snuff. It's his brand new book. I even had to buy it in hard cover to get it.

It looks really really dirty, I pretty much can't wait.

I've got it.

It's the guy who wrote Trainspotting... he's Scottish (I think), and his writing reflects as much, but this is truly one of the dirtiest books I've read.
Sweet, not only does it look promising, in the "customers who bought this also bought" is choke.

I'll defiantly get it. Thanks.

I kept repeating "Love's as good as Soma" or whatever that line is (though I imagine I got it wrong) last night which isn't important.
I don't know how to be objective about something I love. Read Brave New World.

Short stories, all true. About the biggest asshole ever, it was pretty entertaining. Probably the best real life short stories I have ever read ever.

I bought Filth and Chuck's Survivor today. I started Snuff today and it's by far the most disgusting book I've read so far. At one point in the first 5 pages he describes when a man wipes from back to front and gets shit on the backside of their ball sack.

What a great way to start a book, it's good so far.

gospel of the flying spaghetti monster epic

The Good Earth was a requirement for tenth grade honors and it's one of the only school mandated books I liked. It drags along at some points, but most of the time it's great.

Don't read this if you have trouble sleeping at night. Otherwise it is one of my favorite.

I just finished Snuff, it's probably not a good book to read if you never read chuck's work, has many issues. The characters are hard to follow because they're numbered (72, 137, and 600) and the first pages are hard to read because you don't notice (well, now you will because i will have told you) that each chapter is told from a different characters point of view.

the ending was very weird.

the next book im going to read will be filth.

I still need to finish Lord of the Flies. I'm not a big reader.

Lol. I'm a pretty advanced reader, but i read at a talking pace because that makes sense to me. I could have read it a while ago, just didn't. the copy i had was torn as Shit. And I'm picky with books.

I just started to read Filth. The slang, or whatever you'd like to call it, is very hard to get used to at first. I'm not nearly into the book at all, the first chapter but I think I'm going to have to get a piece of paper to write down all the slang and names in this book before I get confused.

And how when people talk, Welsh (the writer) uses dashes instead of quotes.

I read a bit of the first book years ago when I was into all that Boulder's Gate shit, and now I decided to pick it up again.

It's actually startlingly detailed, gritty, and all-round badass. I love it.
